Micro Machines Action Fleet Jabba the Hutt

March 3, 2010

Like the Rancor I mentioned earlier, this Jabba is part of the “Action Fleet” series, which generally seems to include some larger-scale things than are usually found in Micro Machines toys. I have several other Jabba-related Micro Machines, and they all have Jabbas that are fairly small and not to scale with the humanoid figures in the sets. As you can see, in this one Jabba is significantly larger. He’s over two inches long, and his throne is close to 3 inches wide. Jabba is made of a soft rubbery material, and can be removed from the throne (although Salacious Crumb is permanently attached to his tail). His sculpt is a little odd looking, but still cute.

His throne actually has wheels on it, which I thought was pretty funny. I guess it would allow you to do a “wheel back to reveal the Rancor pit” move if you wanted to, or maybe you could have little throne races. 😉 There are also some froggy snacks in his bowl, which I liked.

The set comes with 5 other figures: Slave Leia, Leia as Boushh, Ishi Tib, Sy Snootles, and Lando as Skiff Guard.

This is a great review. Love the way they included frogs in his bowl! Definitely going to buy it now. Cheers!
